この・その・あの (this, that, that (thing) over there +noun)
この / その / あの + [名詞(noun)] + は + Aです
The meaning is almost same as これ/それ/あれ
(refer to Lesson 2-1)
However, この/その/あの is always together with a noun.
When you want to be slightly more specific than これ/それ/あれ,
you can use この/その/あの
Ex.
これはわたしのペンです
[kore wa watashi no pen desu]
= This is my pen
⇨このペンはわたしのです
[kono pen wa watashi no desu]
= This pen is mine
