Language, genomes, and molecules — taught as courses

JapaLingo.jp is a free teaching site with three programmes. Each one has a path, explanations, charts, and practice. Read one page, try the same idea, then write one paragraph of your own.

Programmes

Stay with one subject for a week. The pages are written so a motivated beginner can follow them without a lecture hall.

Life science

Bioinformatics

From FASTQ to a cautious paragraph: QC, alignment, variants, RNA-seq, assembly, and how to read a browser, design primers, and choose a plot.

Chemistry

Organic chemistry

A small set of reusable ideas: electron flow, stability, and structure → reactivity. Draw every problem. Use practice and charts as a pocket reference.

How to study here

Read one idea

Stay on a single page until you can explain the figure or grammar point in your own words.

Touch the same idea

Open the chart, quiz, or a small file. Name the panels. A notebook is enough for many drills.

Write one paragraph

In science, that is a methods sentence. In Japanese, three original sentences using today’s pattern.

Short skills pages that sit beside the main paths. Each one teaches a laboratory habit, then names the usual software — desktop, web, or mobile — with a link to every official page.
